In this Test match, where the two sides are locked in an intense battle between bat and ball, the Indian captain produced yet another one of his iconic hilarious moments, as the video of him actually forgetting the way to the ground went viral.

Rohit Sharma Forgets Way To Ground

In a hilarious video that has now gone viral on social media, Rohit Sharma is seen taking the field with the Indian team in the second innings after India were bundled out for just 46 runs. However, while the team took the field following the normal route to the ground, Rohit was seen taking a route past the side screen through some tangled TV wires. Even Rishabh Pant came into call Rohit. However, the Indian captain continued treading the wrong path.

India Stage Great Fightback In Second Innings

India were all out for just 46 runs in the first innings of the 1st Test against New Zealand. This is the lowest-ever score registered by India in a Test match at home. This is also the first time in 92 years that Team India has been bundled out for below 50 runs at home. Matt Henry picked up 5 wickets, while Michael O Rourke scalped 4.
In response, New Zealand slammed 402 runs riding on a briiliant century by Rachin Ravindra. Devon Conway and Tim Southee also chipped in with half-centuries.
Chasing a 356-run lead, India have gone all guns blazing in their second innings. At lunch on Day 4, India have scored 344/3 riding on a maiden century from Sarfaraz Khan, and half-centuries from Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant.
