Rishabh Pant suffered a heartbreak during the first Test against New Zealand and missed out on his 7th century by just one run. After denying a double on the last delivery of the 88th over, Rishabh was back on the strike. He was dismissed on the very first ball of the 89th over bowled by William O'Rourke. The wicketkeeper-batsman was visibly upset as he walked back to the pavilion.

Rahul Dravid
Rahul Dravid, one of the two Indian batsmen with more than 10000 runs in two formats, was dismissed in the 90s a total of nine times. Dravid retired from international cricket in 2012. He coached Team India from 2021 to 2024.
Rishabh Pant
Rishabh Pant departed for 99 in the opening Test match of the series against New Zealand and he now sits at the third spot. Rishabh has seven 90s in his six-year Test career. He has a long career ahead of him and can go past Sachin in this list.
MS Dhoni, Sunil Gavaskar and Virender Sehwag
Indian legends MS Dhoni, Sunil Gavaskar and Virender Sehwag share the fourth spot with five 90s scores each. Dhoni hit 6 tons while Gavaskar finished his career with 34 centuries. Sehwag breached the 100-run mark with 23 Test tons. The former India opener hit two triple-centuries in Tests. He missed out on a triple-century against Sri Lanka and departed for 293.
