This comes months after President Joe Biden's campaign announced that it was trying to mobilize older voters in key battleground states with activities like bingo and pickleball. The strategy is still pretty hot, it seems.
Trump and his campaign have created a custom line of pickleball paddles and other gear to help spark interest from players across the country. Meanwhile, the Democratic Party and Harris-Walz campaign have hosted several pop-up pickleball events to lure older voters.

Back in September, the Republican presidential nominee was selling a Trump Pickleball Set featuring two paddles with the name "TRUMP" written on them. A case, and two balls costed about $118.

Why Are Donald Trump And Kamala Harris Using Pickleball?

Pickleball, a sport that blends elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong, has become famous especially among older adults and suburban communities—key demographics for both campaigns. Famous celebrities like Novak Djokovic, Naomi Osaka, Ellen DeGeneres, Leonardo Di Caprio and Orlando Bloom have jumped on the trend.

In the United States, interest in pickleball surged so much that tennis courts were repurposed for it. Over 30 school districts in Michigan are planning to incorporate pickleball into their gym classes and other school programs.
Meanwhile, Pickleball World Rankings (PWR), the unified global ranking system for pickleball players, is set to host the PWR DUPR India Masters, in New Delhi. The tournament will take place from October 24 to 27.
