During the Lankan innings, dark clouds suddenly covered the sky and the ground started getting dark.
The light had reduced so much that fast bowling was no longer suitable for play, so the umpires stopped Woakes in the middle of the over and asked him to bowl the remaining deliveries as spin.
As a result, Woakes started bowling as an off-spinner. Fans and fellow cricketers were astonished to see the fast bowler bowling spin, and renowned English commentator Nasser Hussain fell off his chair during commentary.
During Chris Woakes' off-spin bowling, former captain Michael Atherton and Nasser Hussain were performing commentary duties.
It is worth noting that in the Test match, Sri Lanka achieved a historic victory by winning by 8 wickets.
