After BCCI's diktat for players to mandatorily play domestic cricket to be available for selection for the national team, Virat Kohli is set to return to playing the Ranji Trophy for the first time since 2012. He will play in a match against Railways at the Arun Jaitley Stadium from January 31. He has started his practice session with his domestic teammates. Amidst this practice the superstar Indian batter had quite a heartwarming moment with his childhood friend and his son.
As he met his childhood friend Shawez Khan at the side of the practice nets, Virat Kohli stopped midway and greeted him. The two friends then shared a warm embrace in a moment for the game. Shawez and Kohli played age group cricket together at one point of time in Delhi.
Shawez's young son Kabir too was present during the practice session. He posed for pictures with Shawez and Kabir and even gave an autograph to the youngster on his bat.

Virat Kohli's Golden Words Of Advice To Kabir

In an interaction with India Today, Kabir said that he asked Virat Kohli how too could play for India one day. Kohli in turn gave some golden words of advice to the youngster.
"I asked him how can I play for India?... He said 'You have to practice hard. And it shouldn't be your Papa telling you to go to practice. You should tell Papa, I have to go to practice'," Kabir said.

Virat Kohli Eats Kadhi Chawal With Teammates

According to a report by PTI, the DDCA officials had ordered Virat Kohli's favourite chhole poori for him. However, the star Indian batter decided to skip it and have kadhi chawal with the rest of his
"Woh badlaa nahi hain. Usko chhole-poori pasand the aur humne mangaake rakhha thaa. Usne bola chole puri nahi khawoonga (He loves chhole poori, we made arrangements for him but he said he didn't want it)," a senior DDCA (Delhi and Districts Cricket Association) official told PTI.
