England and India are currently taking on each other in the second T20I of the five-match series at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The home side dominated the visitors in the first T20I with both bat and ball, and the one of only players who showed some resistance was Jos Buttler. He is once again looking on sog in the second T20I as he got out just short of his second consecutive half-century. The England captain has now achieved a feat in the match that no other player in history has managed to do.
Jos Buttler had scored 566 runs against India in T20Is prior to the start of the second T20I. With his 45-run knock in the game, the England skipper now has 611 T20I runs against the Men in Blue. He now becomes the first player ever to score 600 runs against India in the shortest format of the game.
Buttler was on a rampage as he smacked the Indian bowlers by scoring 45 runs from 30 balls in an innings that included 3 fours and 2 massive sixes. He was finally dismissed by Ravi Bishnoi as he skied a ball straight into the hands of Tilak Varma.
