Rohit Sharma At No.3

In a video posted on his YouTube channel, Aakash Chopra said that Rohit Sharma can promote himself to no.3, while sending Shubman Gill, who bats at that position down the batting order.
“Rohit can think of one thing if he wishes. Come at No. 3 and send Shubman down the order," Chopra said.
Aakash Chopra also rubbished the suggestions that Rohit Sharma should drop himself owing to his poor form.
"Nothing of that sort is going to happen and it shouldn’t happen as well. Will there be a change (to his place) – no. Can you leave out Rohit Sharma? Does anyone talk like that about the captain?" he added.

Shubman Gill Needs To Find Form

However, Aakash Chopra said he agrees with the fact that Shubman Gill needs to find form, after not hitting a single 40+ score outside Asia for the last 40 innings, However, he feels that things will change soon.
“I totally understand that it’s been 16 innings for Shubman Gill since he has scored a 40-plus score outside Asia. It’s been a while. You have a lot of expectations from him that he will score runs, and things will change," the former opener concluded.
