Ravi Bishnoi made a memorable return to the playing XI and took a three-fer to play a key role in India's win in the 3rd T20I against Bangladesh. The leg-spinner was on the bench in the first 2 T20Is. The team management rested Arshdeep Singh and only played with one frontline pacer.
Ravi capitalised on the opportunity provided and finished with figures of 4-1-30-3. He completed 50 wickets in T20Is and also created history. Ravi is now the youngest Indian bowler to scalp 50 wickets in T20Is.
Ravi achieved the milestone aged 24 years and 37 days. He broke Arshdeep Singh's record. The left-arm pacer was 24 years and 196 days old when he completed 50 wickets in T20Is. He is followed by Jasprit Bumrah, who scalped his 50th T20I wicket aged 25 years and 80 days.
"Feeling great with this (50 T20I wickets) small milestone. It is good pressure when you have a healthy competition in the team. I wanted to make the most of this opportunity. It feels good to see the game from the outside as well. You need to work on yourself and work on things accordingly. I had a break for a few days, so I tried to make the most of it," Ravi said after the game.
