India shattered multiple records as they decimated Bangladesh in the third and final T20I at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. Opting to bat, Sanju Samson (111) put on a show and slammed a 40-ball hundred, the second fastest in the history of Indian cricket. Samson turned on the beast mode after reaching the fifty-run mark and slaughtered the Bangladesh bowlers, hammering Rishad Hossain for five sixes in an over. Suryakumar Yadav was also in full flow and decimated the visitors with a brutal 35-ball 75. The pair added a partnership of 173 for the second wicket. The batters fell in quick succession but it did not bring any respite to Bangladesh.
Riyan Parag and Hardik Pandya joined forces as they continued to pile on the agony on Bangladesh bowlers. Parag made 34 in 13 balls while Hardik Pandya was dismissed for 47 in 18 balls as India posted a monumental total of 297-6 in 20 overs.
