Harry Brook etched his name in history books and became the sixth England batsman to score a triple-century in Test cricket. Brook, who has always enjoyed batting in Pakistan, kicked off the Test series on a dominating note and breached the 300-run mark. He didn't let the scoring rate drop and played a huge role in England putting on a total of 823 on the board in response to Pakistan's 556.

Virender Sehwag
Virender Sehwag holds the record for scoring the fastest triple-century in Test cricket. The former India opener only took 278 balls to complete his triple-century against South Africa in 2008. A year later, Sehwag came close to his third triple-century. He was dismissed for 293 off just 254 balls.
Harry Brook
Brook has become the second-fastest triple-centurion in Test cricket. The England batsman reached the milestone off the 310th ball that he faced. England did not declare the innings after Brook's triple-century and it looked like they might allow him to breach the 400-run mark. But he departed for 317 off 322 balls.
Wally Hammond
Former England batsman Wally Hammond held the record for scoring the quickest triple-century for 75 years. He reached the 300-run mark off 355 balls against New Zealand in 1933. Many batsmen scored triple-centuries till 2008 but no one was able to break his record.
Matthew Hayden
Matthew Hayden batted for 362 balls for his triple-century against Zimbabwe in 2003. He missed out on breaching the 400-run mark and departed for 380. Australia won that Test match by an innings and 175 runs.
Virender Sehwag
Virender Sehwag scored two triple-centuries in Tests and features in the list for the second time. The Indian legend scored his maiden triple-century against Pakistan in 2004. He took 364 balls to reach the milestone. Sehwag slammed six sixes and 39 fours during his historic knock. He was the first Indian batsman to score a triple-century until Karun Nair joined him in the elite list in December 2016.
